In Spanish this phrase literally means "pure life" but is more commonly thought of as meaning "full of life." Costa Ricans use this phrase to express a philosophy of strong community, perseverance, resilience in overcoming difficulties with good spirits, enjoying life slowly, and celebrating good fortune of magnitudes small and large alike. This blog is about our life... Pura Vida!

Go Stars!

Joe came home with the Pope County Tribune the other day, very excited that he made the front page for Stars Baseball! Yes, that's him WAAAAY back in the outfield.

The Stars have had a great season and now have made it to the regional playoffs which will take place this weekend. Their first game is on Saturday in Greenwald. I'm not sure if Joe is going to be able to make it to these games yet... There isn't a baby yet, so chances are no. But we will have to see how it plays out. Good luck Stars!

Glad you pointed him out in the outfield...for some reason I thought he was pitching, but knew that wasn't his number!

I had no idea you guys were even pregnant again- congrats on a beautiful baby girl! How far apart are your girls? Can't be too much more than my boys! =)
